8.26.08 Doan purchases EnterpriseAir

Daon recently announced the purchase of EnterpriseAir. Many expect that this merging of the two companies may provide tigher integration between Physical Access Control Systems (PACS) and Logical Access Control System (LACS) services. Both Daon and EnterpriseAir are product vendors in the HSPD-12 market space, and the merger of the two appears to be a move towards consolidation among vendors, with the intent on providing better products to more directly meet government identity standards.
